It is with great sadness and regret we have to report the untimely death of Stefaan Van Moerbeke, a long time friend and benefactor of the Scottish National Flying Club, following a Road Traffic Accident in his home town of Ypres, the City of Peace in Belgium on Saturday 29th April 2017.

It is with great sadness we advise that George Thomson (Clock Convenor) passed away on Thursday morning (16th June). George was a faithful and dedicated servant to the Scottish National Flying Club for many years and his work and commitment were greatly appreciated by members and officials - he will be sorely missed. Our thoughts and condolences are with his family at this sad time.
